Is there any pre-event planned for November 5th?

For Fellows of the ada Fellowship we offer a limited number of Locals’ Tables in Stuttgart and Ludwigsburg. We’ll publish the events very soon. Please register via the Hub.

Is there an ALF Party?

Our legendary ALF Party will be held at the end of the first festival day. We will announce the location very soon but the party location will be easy to reach from both the Forum am Schlosspark and the train station.

Is there an event app?

Currently, we don't have an event app, but we will have one soon! We strongly encourage you to use our app to collaborate, co-create, and connect during the festival. With our app, you'll be able to navigate the conference area, view our program lineup, and access detailed information about our speakers and their topics.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Yes, we recommend some hotels in Ludwigsburg on our website, but feel free to book your hotel room in Stuttgart as well by using this link. Our location is within a 10-minute walk from Ludwigsburg main station, and arriving by train is very easy.

Will there be food and drinks on site?

The ticket includes drinks as well as vegan and vegetarian catering during the festival. This does not include the ALF party in the evening.

Where will the Ada Lovelace Festival 2024 take place?

Both days of the ALF will be at Forum am Schlosspark, Stuttgarter Str. 33, 71638 Ludwigsburg.

What times does the Ada Lovelace Festival take place?

The program on stage on the first day will be from 10 AM to 6.45 PM. After the stage program, our Flying Dinner with Dinner Tables (drinks and food is included) will take place at 7 PM in the catering area of the location. At 9 PM starts the ALF Party. The second day will take place from 10 AM to 5.30 PM. You can find more information about our program here.

I am a press representative and would like to participate in the event, who can I contact?

Press representatives can apply for a media accreditation for the Ada Lovelace Festival 2024 until October 21st, 2024. If you are interested in participating virtually or on site, please contact our press agency Drei Brueder Kommunikation und Beratung at presse@drei-brueder.de with details of the medium you represent to receive a ticket

How to reach the location?

We recommend that you travel to the Ada Lovelace Festival by train or bus. The walking distance from Ludwigsburg station to the Forum am Schlosspark is 700 meters / 10 minutes. View walking route.

Arrival by Public Transport 

Ludwigsburg can be reached from Stuttgart via the S-Bahn lines S4 (towards Marbach – Backnang) and S5 (towards Bietigheim) in 12 minutes. Additionally, the trains of the railway lines Stuttgart – Heilbronn – Würzburg and Stuttgart – Karlsruhe stop at Ludwigsburg station.

Bus line 421 connects Ludwigsburg station (bus platform 6) with the Forum am Schlosspark (stop "Agentur für Arbeit") in 4 minutes travel time. Timetable.

In Ludwigsburg, there is an offer of the CityTicket for 3.00 Euros (1 person) or 6.00 Euros (up to 5 persons). It allows unlimited rides within the city area (including all districts). More information.

Arrival by Car 

Ludwigsburg is connected to the A 81 highway with two exits. Coming from Munich, the Ludwigsburg Süd exit is recommended, and from Würzburg / Heilbronn, the Ludwigsburg Nord exit. From Stuttgart and Heilbronn, Ludwigsburg can be reached via the federal highway 27. The way into the city center is signposted.

Stuttgart Airport Ludwigsburg is about 30 kilometers from Stuttgart Airport. Take the S-Bahn lines S2 or S3 to Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof (main station), then continue with S4 or S5 to Ludwigsburg.

I would like to come by car, are there parking facilities on site?

There are 700 parking spaces available at the Bärenwiese parking lot opposite the Forum am Schlosspark and in the surrounding streets. The Akademiehofgarage and Rathausgarage parking garages are located in the immediate vicinity on Mathildenstraße. More information here.

I want to be a volunteer at the Ada Lovelace Festival, who can I contact?

If you are interested in being a volunteer at the event, please reach out to events@join-ada.com and send us a motivation letter explaining why you would like to take part in the event as a volunteer.

Will there be a livestream?

Tickets FAQ

I bought a ticket in the ticket store and haven’t received my ticket yet, what can I do?

You’ll receive your ticket in the week before the event or you can download it in the week before the event in your Pretix account. You can access your account by clicking on the link in one of the emails we sent you during the ordering process. If you cannot find the link, click here to request the link to be sent again.

When do I get access to the event platform?

You will receive an email with your login data for the event platform one week before the event.

Do you offer reduced tickets?
plus icon

For a select group who may not be able to afford the ticket, we offer a limited number of discounted tickets subsidized by ada. This reduced ticket is for students, trainees, welfare subsidy, pensioners, people with disabilities and people on parental leave. To make sure the tickets get to the right people, please send us an email to events@join-ada.com with your request. Alternatively, you can apply as a volunteer to gain free access to the event.

I bought a ticket in the ticket store and haven’t received my ticket yet, what can I do?

If you haven’t received your ticket, please check your spam folder. If you also can not find your ticket there, please contact events@join-ada.com.

Can my ticket be transferred to another person?

A rebooking to another event or a substitute participant is only possible with the express consent of ada. Please reach out to events@join-ada.com

Do you offer student tickets?

Yes, please send us an email with your request and your student ID. Afterwards, we’ll send you the link for the reduced ticket.

I have an on-site ticket, but unfortunately I cannot attend onsite. Can I switch to a virtual participation?

All participants that registered for the event, automatically get access to our event platform. If you can not attend the event on site, you will be able to follow it virtually.

Can I cancel my ticket?
plus icon

Early Bird Tickets, Pre-Sale Tickets, Regular Tickets and Reduced Tickets can be cancelled until September 11, 2024. After that, a cancellation fee of 50% will be charged (see § 5 Clause 2 of the Terms). In case of non-appearance of a Participant (“no show”) or cancellation up to four weeks before the day of the event, the entire participation fee is due. Participants  are free to prove that ada has incurred no or less damage. A rebooking to another event or a substitute participant is only possible with the express consent of ada.The statutory right of cancellation shall remain unaffected by the above provisions and, within the scope of application, shall in any case take precedence over the cancellation conditions.
